I guess I probably should have posted these for Memorial Day but it didn’t occur to me until now that I could have been more timely in getting these up:
I took some photos at the Cherry Blossom Festival but I’m not really happy with any of them.
The light was pretty flat and I did not bring my A game.

National Botanical Gardens (Part 1)
Lindsey and I took a trip into the District today and decided to check out the orchid show at the National Botanical Gardens, cameras in hand. I ended up getting some pretty good shots despite the rare shafts of good light. Here’s the first batch:
Grungy photo day
I took some photos today on my walk home from the metro and I decided to capture the grungy feeling of the walk – dirty snow banks still lingering around, cloudy day, train tracks, and a power plant billowing smoke, etc.. I also got really grungy with the editing which was fun.
