Satchel: Dog? Gremlin? The World May Never Know.

A few weeks ago, we were kind enough to dogsit a rambunctious Boston Terrier named Satchel. Here are some shots from that adventure. Note: I woke up several times in the middle of the night with this face staring me down:
The President’s House

A few weeks ago we got to tour the White House gardens. Here are a few shots from that day:
I took some photos at the Cherry Blossom Festival but I’m not really happy with any of them.

The light was pretty flat and I did not bring my A game.
Adventure!

A couple weekends ago, fellow (and much more talented) photographer Chris Radcliffe and I photographed the Odyssey EFIX 2 Day Adventure Race in the New River Gorge are of West Virginia. Here are a few shots from that race. To view and purchase many more photos from that race, check out our Zenfolio page at [...]
2 Protests in 1 Day (Part 1)

While we had decided to meet some friends at Eastern Market in downtown DC, we heard that there was going to be an anti-war protest at the White House and I thought it would be a great opportunity for some photos. National Botanical Gardens (Part 1)

Grungy photo day

I took some photos today on my walk home from the metro and I decided to capture the grungy feeling of the walk – dirty snow banks still lingering around, cloudy day, train tracks, and a power plant billowing smoke, etc.. I also got really grungy with the editing which was fun.
Today we got a blizzard, a snownado, a snurricane.

Seriously, we got another 10 inches or so today and according to the National Weather Service, we had “blizzard conditions” and were told that going outside could be fatal. I braved the elements for a brief photo or two. This photo simply does not do the storm justice but you can see the trees moving [...]
